As time progresses, CC3D aims to rapidly expand and evolve to keep up with potential demand for our services and to keep in mind our ultimate goals so that we can achieve great things for the people of Cornwall and for others further away.

“Big things have small beginnings”

We started small as many new things do. After a number of years of developing our knowledge, experience and skills specific to the needs of local industries, we forged new ideas and solutions to many of the problems faced by several existing industries that Cameron had worked within. It became apparent that Cornwall would benefit from an advanced manufacturing service that utilised novel, personalised and truly innovative industrial methods. Collins Creations 3D was born form this demand.

Phase 1

In early 2019, Collins Creations 3D reserved its space in the newly developed Enterprise Space for Advanced Manufacturing, a custom designed facility the first of its kind in Cornwall and first of the growing West Carclaze Garden Village Eco-community. We hope to grow and support this game changing eco-park based here in central Cornwall.

We soon outgrew what ESAM could to offer and set our sites on establishing the largest printing farm in the county. It was time to head to Truro, capital city of Cornwall.

Phase 2

In late 2023, Collins Creations 3D took a leap forward by expanding into our first standalone facility that provides:

Increased 3D printing potential by a factor of 5

Increased 3D scanning abilities for larger projects

A safe and suitable environment for business to business and business to individual consultation meetings

A novel and unique working space for new entrepreneurs to explore their own crafts, design their own projects and even establish their own micro-businesses.

Now based in Newham Industrial Estate, Truro, our current innovation workshop provides much more for our employees, clients and partners alike. We plan to expand whilst at Newham to create the largest independent 3D printing farm in Cornwall and develop new opportunities for businesses who have yet to prosper through additive manufacturing and 3D Scanning processes.

In future, CC3D has ambitious scope to grow into a successful advanced manufacturing business for the benefit of Cornwall and its people. This includes operating from a state of the art facility in order to host many of the services CC3D will eventually provide as we grow within the community, for the benefit of our community.
